Madara Uchiha is was a legendary shinobi who led the Uchiha Clan prior to and after the formation of Konohagakure. After allying with his rival, Hashirama Senju, he also helped in the founding of Konohagakure. After his defection from the village and death, he was later revived by Kabuto Yakushi during the Fourth Shinobi World War and severed his contract with his summoner and became immortal. After losing to Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha in the war, he created the Vandenreich and became its leader, becoming one of the main antagonist of the series.
